This is a little "hole-in-the-wall" Chinese restaurant at the Pike Place Market. I photographed it a lot. This is one of the few shots that i've liked (both the color and the B & W conversion). I rented this lens to try it out. I like the way it renders images.

M9; CV 35mm f/1.4; 1/750s @ f/1.4; +1/3 EV; ISO 160

:D:D:D!
Steve: Beautiful lighting and angle. Mystical; evocative. Don't know which one I prefer. They're surprisingly different. Somehow more then just one's in B & W and the other in Color. :salute:

Cheers, Matt.

One more from my day with Ashwin.

The mighty buffalo hunter, and his weapon of choice. (He'll have to show you his "kill".)

M8, 35 Lux ASPH II:

(BTW, these "buffalo" (bison, actually) roam pretty much freely on the island. The fences, like the one in the background, are just to keep them out of certain small areas. Truth is, they don't do much good. If they want to go somewhere, they go!)

Mike, both outstanding. Love the humor in the second shot with the bird scoping out the guy with boxes...

You are truly a master of capturing those moments of humor, where you must blend into the surroundings to grab that which is around you. Keen eye, my friend!

Haha, tough guy am I, until they decide to stampede. These are great images of me, Lloyd! Thanks, and I am excited to start sharing my images once home later this evening and through the week!
