Mike
Mike: Somehow kafkaesque to me, absolutely great capture!:thumbs: Also right choice, that you resisted to convert to B&W (just my vote), though it would be great in B&W no doubt nevertheless ... Truely Oustanding.
Best regards Hermann
Mike: I like the way that your vignetting's isolated him on the platform with his arms spread in anticipation of... :salute:

First of all thanks for your kind words.Dan, thank you so much, i love the 35mm cron, however i'm just wondering, should replace it with 35mm lux!!! not sure yet !!
Dan, the cruise ship terminal has amazing colors and contrasts, as well as the Street performance shot, excellent job!

Nice results. I really like this one. (We've watched a few of these around here. I wouldn't want to meet these women in a dark alley!)
Speak for yourself
nice ROller derby shots
Shiro: The high contrast and shadow work really well to give this set it's tough, darkness. Seems to suit "Evil". Great compositions. :salute:
Cheers, Matt.

Shiro - Great series.. these are my faves. Making me want that 18..
All of these pictures were taken at sunset or later. The person in the first photo is a friend and she really does have hair that purple, you usually just have to catch it in the right light to see it shine.
I dont know who sho the purple haired woman but that shot and the blurry B+W are awesome!
Cehoffman, your Festival set is awesome, and the best one for me are the last two shot, amazing composition and exposure, well done !
John, thanks for the Indy 500 coverage, some wonderful shots, obviously you had the run of the place!A few from yesterday's Indy 500.
I'm trying to master some traditional manual techniques with my M9, and for the first time used an external finder (35mm), hyperfocal focusing, and manual exposure with the Sunny 16 Rule. I really enjoyed shooting that way. A little difficult with changing light situations, but I'll keep at it.

Some "test" shots and pp.

Kewl test shots, Matt. I tend to shoot things on or around my desk a lot as well. So much so that when Mimi noticed your shots, she actually thought they were mine... she's seen shots so that hurricane bulb blower (well, one like it) before.
