Interesting to note that he shot the last roll using his Nikon F6 and not a Leica M. Using the Leica would have been a fitting end to the Kodachrome story but I understand his desire to shoot 36 good frames and hence why he pre-shot with his D3x too and then shot the final image with the F6 & Kodachrome.

Wonder why so many frames were "near duplicates", as he pre-shot each frame with the d3x to make sure all the settings / lighting / etc. was correct. Maybe DeNiro blinks a lot?
