Ashwin: Nice shots of your dietician friend. Love the b/w portrait in particular... beautiful eyes. The entire series from the Steve Huff workshop is great! But I have a question about the first shot... why just take pictures of your cameras? You could have added everyone else's too, couldn't you? Nice shots of our forum friends, Matt and Dan as well. Dedicated (and handsome) shooters for sure. And what the heck is Steve shooting with in that one shot?...

Matt: "Two Blocks Apart" very interesting study in contrasts. I liked that redhead's hair as well. Good lookin shots of you from Ashwin! Nice shots from the workshop too. BTW, did I notice a new camera there? Jealous!!! Any noticeable differences?
    ...
Lloyd: Ashwin wouldn't let us add our cameras to the pile!! Thanks for your comments. I picked the M9-P up last week. I was standing at the counter at Glazer's when the one I ordered came in! It does shoot a lot better without the logo and the model designation, and, with the sapphire LCD cover and the cool script! An apropos saying from my Rugby days: "Look good; play good" (or, "tuck in your jersey a_____e!")

    Cheers, Matt

    re: Fun w/Digital M Images

    Once again some great shots posted . . . . .

Rayyan, love the BW landscape taken with the 28 cron, wonderful clouds, mountains and hills! The light and shadows is very pleasing to the eye.

MountainJoe, the shot taken with the CV 35/1.2 'Encounter' is fantastic! Love the clarity and light on the bottle with a wonderful smooth bokeh! Nicely done.

Matt, women with tattoos and martini's appear to be a weakness of yours! Love the second shot of the 2 women with the tats taken with the 35 cron! . . . . . and the martini just looks delicious, love the DOF and bokeh of the Noctilux!

Robert, good looking cars, it must be an upscale mall, or the economy is doing much better north of the boarder, nice captures!

Steve,a couple of great shots, 'Wake up the Girls are Here,' lovely DOF, detail and fading to a nice soft bokeh with the 90 cron ASPH!

    . . . . . work on catching up in the next few days with everyone's work . . . . .

At the top of the stairs it was 90 F , and the bottom of the stairs ( about 300+ ) it was 70, but the humidity was massively high, Dickson falls runoff in Fundy national Park. I sweated like crazy carrying my backpack with tripod and gear, but Im glad I brought the stabilisation, water looks so much nicer in long exposures!

Robert: Looks cool and green. Thanks for suffering the heat and schlepping the gear to make the shots possible.

Steve (shtarka1), excellent street shots and portraits, love them all! Glad we survived the heat the other day! Thanks for letting me "borrow" the Tiffany composition
Ash, looked like the Seattle M shooters had a great weekend! One of the highest concentration of M cameras per square inch that I've seen in awhile Excellent shots, I especially like the one you took on the prowl with the other two M shooters.
Dan, very nice set. Nice portrait of Matt and the shot of Amy is excellent! Too bad we could not meet up in Boston this time. Hopefully next time
Matt, I love your tools! Congrats on the "P"! Excellent shots from the workshop. The B&W Pike's Place shot and the guy with the hat are my favorites.

Nice shot of Freddy, great clarity, and deep blacks. But this one... wow. Great catch! Sort of a mind bender.
