    re: Fun w/Digital M Images

Ashwin, Steve, Matt: Thank you gentlemen for you kind comments on my post.

Ashwin: Another impressive set. Love the shot of the caber tosser! That Fish and Chips sign was perfect... don't know if that was at the Highland Festival or not, but talk about a Scottish bargain. Love the landscapes... Mt. Rainier never looked better.

Daniel: What can I say about those shots from NZ?!? Honestly, I think I've run out of adjectives... I just sit here in awe... truly.

Steve: Your street shots are always so poignant. Number 3 in particular for me. And the processing reinforces that feeling.

Mike: Yet another wonderful set! Love that last one... I'm a sucker for nautical scenes, and that is a great one.

Robert: Love that first shot of your younger daughter. And I love the way that old Cron renders. I have the 1967 version, and it may be my favorite lens.

Joe: Very nice shots from around Capitola. Hard to pic a favorite. I love the way that CV 35/1,2 renders. And you're right, once it's dialed it, it has few peers.

Matt: Very nice set. Like that third one, of the couple on the bench, especially.

Ed: Really like the lens flare set. Nice work.

esmallits: Great, and classic-looking images. Looking forward to more.

Oh wow! What a departure from your usual images.

I thought it was one image when I first looked - they go really well together.

The second is my favourite - beautiful. Wonder why lol :roll eyes:

This thread is so fast it's scary.
    Thank you all who commented,
    Steve always enjoying your work.
Lloyd: very touching story and with a sweet ending.
Ashwin: Yes, just got the FLE (100% prepaid/5.5 months wait) and that was the first day out with it. I am seriously thinking of the bubble flare and I shaved my head.
Matt, you have a great eye for details. Did not see the clouds in b/w. Love that Marshall Park shot.
Daniel, the HDR is so nice. L O V E the saturated colors.
Mike, your photos are always so sharp! Really like the cooffee shot.
    Sorry if I've missed anyone.

Peter: Thank you, sir! The splat is a problem that I occasionally get; especially with fast glass.
Ed: Cool. I especially like the first one.
Daniel: Thanks for the info. I had Enfuse once. I'll check it out again. I did mean the 75mm.
    Esmallits: Nice 'street'!
    Steve/Lloyd/Mike: Thanks!
Mike: Superb pp. Cool train! I finally found the three dogs, and, I really had to look for the gorilla.
griffin: Good look at the Haight.
Steve: Brilliant photos! Silhouettes, water, bit of pink cloud, and that tiny kite. Love the tiny kite. Both are easy to like, but, the first is my favorite. (I, also, thought it was one shot!)
Steve: Composition and pp in "Not Now Mister..." are excellent.
Steve: Hitting the 'mean streets' with Joe. Looks like fun.
    Ed: Thank you, sir!
Charles: Thanks. Excellent portrait. The grey-green wall and the wood slats really set off her coloring. Her body tilt and the angle of the wall help to bring the eye to her face.
Ashwin: Terrific portrait (he looks just like you?). The hat and chair photos are very cool. My prefs., in order: #7, #5, #1, #4, #3, #6, & # 2 (IMHO).

    Cheers, Matt.
