    Thank you!

The 2 boat pictures were at 1250.
    The flowers at 3200
The sunset with the man was 200. And that was shot with a 90 summ apo, not 50.

Thanks. Yes I guessed the flowers was at the nearby maximum, but still looks very nice indeed, actually with a certain and special glow, compared to the others. But in practice a M240 wount go usuable up at higher ISO's I guess?

We like to think it is. Generally, it's pretty laid back; the flame wars, antagonism, etc., prevalent on other forums is frowned on, and mostly missing here. We try to be more civilized, at least.

Glad to have you aboard; hope you enjoy the ride.

That's the highest I've shot it at and it's the highest in it's native range although you can push further to 6400 but I haven't tried that yet. I've now had the camera for 3 weeks only so haven't shot it at all its settings yet. But I think the camera is special and am surprised by all the negativity it's been getting.

M Type 240/75 APO ASHP Cron

This is the type photograph I love to create, it's art, not just a picture. Rarely do I get such opportunities. Ansel Adams once stateed, if he took one good image a month, it was a good month. Today made my month I guess...

Handheld, not a lot of fuss, just shot at high enough ISO, so I kept my speed up for handholding, to avoid the mix of tourists for to long at the overlook. Smokers included.

    Camera make:Leica Camera AG
    Camera model:LEICA M (Typ 240)

    Exposure mode:Auto

I do like rich with color black and whites. I guess you know what I mean... all 3 were M9

Shooting M240 and M9, I noticed a propensity for the M9 to try to steal the show... Difficult to say why.

A few from over the Thanksgiving break from my newly acquired M240.

Loving the high ISO capabilities! The last image of the girl mesmerized by the candles was shot at 3200, something I would not have attempted with my M9.

    Re: Fun w/Digital M Images

Matt and his wife came for the day today - sadly it was the most boring kind of East Anglian weather (flat grey cloud). We had a lovely time Oh Yes -

These were all with the Leica M - the first with the 75 'cron, the other two with the 50 'lux.

    Some recent model shots, Monochrom

    Model # 1: Haley

    Model # 2: Pixie

    Model # 3: Rachel

A bit sillier (model 4: JoJo, the African Grey Parrot, with Haley)

Shot mainly with 75 lux, but also Canon 100 mm f/2, both stopped down to f/2.8-f/4
