Mike, I really love these two images! Love to see more of the area. Are there more boats in the area, are some of them still actively working?

    Once again beautiful photographs.

Outstanding image... you "discover" the cat completing the image.

Striking images, but hey, don't you know it is dangerous to take pictures while standing in the middle of the railway tracks?

    Somewhere east of Jerusalem:

It's Ein Perat, in Wadi Kelt. A short distance past the separation "fence," a long ravine that has sheltered hermits' caves and British water systems, leading eventually to Jericho. Maintained as part of the National Park system.

    Re: Fun w/Digital M Images

After a debate over in the Sony forum about ultra-wide options, in which the mirrorless (A7r and 800e) crowd favored the legendary Elmarit-R 19 version II and the Zeiss 18/2.8, I concluded that the SEM 18/3.8 was probably the best solution for use on the M240. So here are some shots with it at the 1 K and 5K points on this morning's Jerusalem marathon:

I'm still learning to get in close enough to use all that reach. I shut live view off in order to shoot faster, composed by just getting interesting stuff in the visible frame, so these are slightly cropped.
