My youngest was made fun of by some older kids at the playpark so she was consoled by all of us, but she mostly wanted a hug from Mommy , this was at f2 while walking back to the car

I've fallen in love with this freekin' lens. :-0
Anyway, my book workshop starts this week. The photos that will be featured in the book I produce from it will be this Communicating series. There will be a reception and book signing event on July 5th at ModernBook Gallery in San Francisco to celebrate. It would be great to see some of the locals there. More info as it happens!
Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.
Went to the coast yesterday hoping to catch some high surf but the waves were relatively tame.
I was mostly shooting film and was packing things up as the sun was lost behind clouds when when I noticed the light change for a moment. Grabbed my M9 with 90mm elmarit and took a few shots before we lost the light again.
Cheers,
Gentlemen, Amazing Work!
I have been somewhat remiss on commenting directly on shots, as there have so been so many excellent captures. I do like the new like tab, as it allows to acknowledge excellent shots!
Woody, Lloyd, Steve, Cenek, Matt, Steve(great to see you back from the dark side), Joe, Mike, Robert and f 1.0, great shots everyone! If I have missed anyone, I do apologise!
Some shots with the M9 24 and 50 Lux, from Bangkok, at the riverside Buddhist temple, Wat Rakang Kositaram. It is a older and smaller temple, with a great feeling with the monks and people, without feeling touristy!
Good Gracious, I'm Glad I'm Backtracking! Wow, Charles & David :clap:Hi guys, I'm a long time admirer of this thread, and this is my first contribution because I'm finally a M9 owner after buying Ashwin's black M9. Still learning and getting used to the rangefinder focus mechanism, but I'm eager to share a couple of shots from tonight, shot with the ZM 50mm C-Sonnar.

Thanks, Paratom! You're right, I think the scene is set, and in true HCB style, I should have waited a while for that "something" to come by and make it more interestingI like all 3 but think the first fits best your "story".
Now exchange the silver Car for a Ferrari with a nice young lady walking along and its perfect
Beautiful Signature & & Lovely Image Brian!One with a 1950 KMZ Jupiter-3, wide-open at F1.5 and minimum focus of ~0.75m using a modified mount.
I doubt this lens was ever used to take an in-focus image. The optics module was held into a mis-manufactured mount using sewing thread. The focus was way off, and there were no shims - lens was adjusted as far as it could be, still off. I put it in a 1956 KMZ LTM focus mount.
Thanks Charles.Steve, thank you very much! Great shot and PP'ing
Great Contrast,Color,Mood & Comp David! Enjoyed The Images On Your Blog As Well!I'm still in the honeymoon period with my M9.. taking it with me everywhere and snapping at everything. Here's a shot while climbing the stairs to the office.
