Matt, #1, 2 & 4 for me on this set. Curious was the "red thing" on 2&3 the same one? You must have walked a long way for that shot?

This SLUG went out to the beach with a non-SLUG friend....

    LOL...

Thanks to you all for your kind words, and to Matt and Ed for some constructive feedback. I will take another look and do some clean up/crop as you have suggested....

    A couple from tonight...

Mike: I'm not in a hurry. I like to buy at Glazers, here in Seattle. The 75 cron is one of my favorite lenses (so are all of my other Leica lenses ). I use it a lot more then I ever used my previous 90 cron and 90 elmarit. The 90 is nice to have; but, not something that would live on the camera.

JOSEPH: Glad you liked it. SLUGs shoot till we drop.

MOHAMMAD: Thank You. If you are referring to the blog URL on the bottom, those are not my words or photos. That belongs to Andrew Holloway, fellow SLUG.
Nice composition! I have seen your photo stream. Nice work!! Your photos have the "Golden Rectangle" proportions. Very pleasing.

ASHWIN: Love that shot of the shadows and the barstool!!

Joe: Thanks! It was the same "red thing". The long walk was up to the top of the hill where I shot #3. I saw the combine, noticed it was by a road, went down, and drove around to get close to it.

Ashwin: Just trying a little of what we discussed. Your friend looks familiar. I like these two a lot. The first is an excellent version of the silhouettes/landscape cliche (I can say that because i posted one a little while ago). The two women walking in on the right, hands gesturing, adds a nice dynamic to it. The second's a lively, fun, photo!

Ed: Very cool! Where were you? My predilection (not necessarily correct?) would be to lighten the sitting man's face a skosh to make it more recognizable. The first one's perfect.

Charles, Edtan, Matt, Ashwin, Steve, dude163, Lloyd, Thank you so much guys, i'm so glad that you liked my humble shot, however i retouched it again, i've noticed that lightroom for some reason have over sharpened my foreground, i retouched it again and made it more seattle and cleaner !! hope you like it guys.

Ashwin, Lovely beach set, specially can't deny my admiration of your beautiful friend's smile, she is really photogenic ;-) , i so like the shadows shot, well done my friend. and i liked your retouch on the ones as well, they are excellent, well done !

Edtan, looool sorry for the confusion, however i liked your B&W shot for man reading, excellent capture!

Matt, Stunning set from the East Mountain, specially the last two once, beautiful composition and angles.

Another great series, Matt, I might have done a slightly tighter crop to leave off the assymetric hey to the left of the image, but that's a subtle thing....

Ashwin: Thanks for the comment. Good eye. I see what you mean. It seems more dynamic.

Ashwin:#1. Initially seems imbalanced; but the weight of the shadow counteracts the vector of the man 'facing' left. My eye is still drawn into the shadows to the man's right. Intent? Excellent photo, in spite of, or because, of that. #2. Makes an excellent B & W; but, having seen the golden tones and detail of the color one... #3. Awesome capture and composition. #4. Comp., tone, detail, light; all good.

    Mike, LOL... great capture

Some shots this afternoon from Currumbin beach! The weather is warming up, virtually a full moon and almost Spring!

Shots with the 75 Lux and M9. Met a family from China, and they were so pleasant and really pleased having their shots taken!
