A couple of street shots from Santa Cruz today.

    One b&w - 50mm lux.

This guy was giving away "free empathy" ;-)

One in color - 50mm lux.

    Thanks for looking.

Went up the coast yesterday - it was a gloomy day with fog and overcast all day so not great for picture taking.

I did get a few shots that I liked.

    "Innocence" - M9 + Zeiss 25mm f2.8 Biogon:

    "Gone Fishing" - M9 + 35mm cron:

    "Cows Gazing" - M9 + 35mm cron:

Lastly - not sure which version of these I like best -color or b&w.
    "Pigeon Point Lighthouse" - M9 + 35mm cron:

    Thanks for looking.

Thanks Steve - #1 is definitely the strong one in this set - the rest were my "tourist snaps" for the day ;-)

I love the range of tones the M9 produces in b&w - it's easily become my favorite camera for b&w's (D700 is now a close second ).

Amazingly sharp with a nice rolling-lines composition. Truly outstanding.

This is my favorite of the bunch. Great use of the Noctilux.

Had a chance to try out the new Leica Super-Elmar 21 mm f/3.4 ASPH this weekend.

Even though it's not really a low-light lens, I wanted to see how well it would perform indoors. As you can see, it's a wonderful lens -- sharp without being clinical. Feels a lot like the 28 cron in that sense.

Really like the iq & signature of this new lens David. Processing & comps are fabulous as usual! Looks like a keeper.
