    re: Fun w/Digital M Images

Steve: That second set of portraits is wonderful! Excellent!
    Joe: Thanks!
Joe: I keep forgetting that the area around Santa Cruz is so beautiful. Great photos!
Jason: My wife looked over my shoulder and said "that's a really cute baby"! She was looking at the toned one.
    Mark: Cool!
YamasDigital: Nice shots. I really love the orchid photo.
Ed: I still love that first shot.
    Ashwin: Nicely documented 'SLUGfest'!
Jim: Love the portraits from BM! #6 and #7 are my favorites.
    Steve: Go BLUGS!
    1 Day Ago...Today.
    Daniel: "Cross-eyed"?
Shiro: Nice jump. Brilliant photos. I esp. like the 'This Dog Bites'.
Steve: Nice set as usual! Serious 'glare' in #1.
Lloyd: Thank you, sir! Fortunately Ashwin didn't get any photos of me.
Ed: Well 'themed' photos. They're "sensational".
David: Thanks! Those photos of yours are terrific!
Joe: Comp and color are great!

    Cheers, Matt

Matt, your Palouse shots are changing my mind on black and white. I am not a typical fan of it. Very few b&w move me. But your shots are changing my view and making me want to give it a try. Steve, Joe and David are wearing me down too. Great shots all.

At the birthday party my youngest was tearing around the back garden at high speed

Trying to capture kids at speed is hard with a rangefinder, but oh so rewarding when it works

    ISO 160 f2! 1/250th of a sec

everytime we drive by this sign the kids always yell out

    " Construction SUCKS!"

I agree , it seems all we get here is both seasons : winter and construction

    ISO 160 f2 1/4000th of a sec

Yes, thats a horse and rider on the left! such an urban metropolis I live in!

Really like this one as well as the others .... these fields look wonderful to photograph ...
    excellent job Matt

Particularly like this image ...great idea ...

    Beautiful portrait Steve ....

David looks like the new 21 has found it's way into the hands of the master of wide : )
looking forward to seeing more of what you do with this lens .....

thanks all for your comments as always they are most appreciated

Former Fashion model ... amazing woman and a great sense of humor ... she is originally from Boston so it was a pleasure to talk to her as most people here on the islands don't get the east coast way ...... a lovely brief encounter with a lovely woman .....
the M8 18 combo as usual ... this lens has ended up being my favorite on the m8 .. and has kept me from selling this combo for the M9 ... sounds crazy I know .. just can't seem to part with it .....
