Anyway, I'll keep things ticking over. From today, M8/Zeiss 25mm - just trying some different processing techniques:

    Hi Mike,
Great images, as usual. Way to keep the place afloat along with Wozza....life's gotten so busy with work, that photography has taken a bit of a back seat and will be so likely through the holidays.....after that, i'll be back full force....

    re: Fun w/Digital M Images

As a long time "high megapixel" back maven, I was diappointed to have to, for orthopaedic failure reasons, take my M9 on the last two european shoots.

Well, as a pano purveyor, I clicked away, some as high as 9 or 12 images. Some were vertical (as here) and I was curious to see how well they printed on my 7900.

here is an examplke from Villandry gardens...I printed 24" by 60" and then cropped to the same size to maximoze the page (the aspe ct is greater than 2:5)

They are spectacular! even with less than 300p/in they are quite sharp

see the crop. I can't image what 80 vs 18MP would do (except maybe I could get by with 2 or 3 shots) but 1lb vs 6LBs really matters when you are treking with a bum shoulder in 35 degree (Celsius) heat up 2000ft hills (as a consideration to REAL mountain climbers I won't call them mountains )

Excellent photos on the last couple of pages!!

Killing some time the other night at the White Rabbit. I was waiting for my wife to finish rehearsal. The first is a little like a 'Chucky' movie? The second is followed by two 'crops'. She came in and had a drink (brown, no ice) and left! Thanks for looking.

    re: Fun w/Digital M Images

A friend of mine did the " walk a Mile in her Shoes" for charity ( it was for awareness to abuse towards women) and I went along saying I was a sponsor of his, plus my girls wanted to have a laugh at the men in heels

here is my pal rocking the size 11s

and here is my 4 year old trailing the pack and stomping her feet and laughing..........

Here's a shot of gf hiding from the camera. It was taken at iso1600 and slightly underexposed so I did a little noise reduction and decided to give it some blue undertones.
The image is still noisy but I like the cold tones.
