35mm summilux aperture ring question (FLE version)

Hello everyone! I just obtained a new 35mm FLE lux. I found that for every aperture setting the ring clicks in positions precisely - but somehow the aperture ring will rotate pass 1.4. I mean after I rotate the ring to f1.4 (white dot above the middle of 1.4), I can rotate a bit more to the left till i can't move the ring anymore (white dot right on top of the 1 in 1.4).

Is this normal?? thx a lot in advance

Mine has the same behaviour. I asked Leica about this and they said that it is normal for this lens.

As far as I know, all my Leica lenses do this including the 35 lux fle.

There are apparently a few lenses that don't rotate past the mark, but not many. I think its something to do with working tolerances for things like expansion or contraction in hot and cold weather.
