Leica R and Contax C/Y Replacement Cost help?
Can anyone help me figure out the replacement cost for some Leica R and Contax C/Y lenses?
My insurance company wants me to present the replacement cost of my Leica R and Contax C/Y lenses. Not the cost a camera store would pay me for them but how much it would cost me to buy them from a camera store. The problem is I rarely see these lenses listed for sale in any camera store at least not in these good of a condition not even KEH. Sometimes I find them on eBay but often at inflated prices and there are not many actual sales. I rarely see them on FM B&H either these days.
All of the lenses (and R9/DMR) are 9/10+ or like new. Most include the original box. The Leica R are all the latest model with ROM except the Leica 15mm and 60mm macro which are older 3-cam models. The Contax C/Y are all 9/10+.
