Rebates !!???? M8 $1500

Photography blog is reporting that Leica is offering a $1500 rebate on the M8 until January 1. Also, noted that there are $300 lens rebates. I've been bit out of touch on all things photo but this is pretty significant! Sorry, I'm on iPhone so I can't post a link.

They are also offering $300 rebates on most lenses (excludes the new releases). The best deals are on the Summarit line because their retail prices are the lowest. You can get a new Summarit 50mm f2.5 for $995 after rebate. Here is a link to David Farkus's store listing for the 50mm f2.5 - it has a link to the rebate form.

No rebate on the old Noctilux. It still is listed for $1,600/-.

HaHa, that is funny. The iPhone doesn't have copy and paste functionality. Its kinda a sore spot for me since the iPhone is great in many other respects.
