1: 50 apo
2: 28 elmarit, 50 apo
3: 28 elmarit, 50 apo, 90 cron

The 90 f/4 might be the better choice, but hey, gotta go with what you got! Although I admit I don't yet have the 28. :(

Well, if I had to take just 2.... it depends where I would go.
either:
28 + 50APO (probably the most flexible)
or 35 and 50
or 35 + 75/2.0
or 21 + 50 (probably the most interesting)

when I was younger I did a lot with just 35 +90mm

but normally I would bring 4 lenses: 21/3.4, 35/1.4 ,50APO and 75 Summicron

Fabulous shot, Jono!

I did not know that photo is ~ 2 years old. Excuse my ignorance- is that lens available for sale anywhere?

For Iceland two summers ago, 35 Summilux (and I now would sneak in a 21 SEM), plus an olympus M43 with the 75/1.8. Here's an example with the 35:

and one with the Olympus 75/1.8:

the gallery is here.

If you had asked this question three months earlier I'd have a different answer. But since I bought an M-P, with it's higher ISO ability, I'd take my Elmarit-M 24 and a 75 Summarit. Both quite small with superlative sharpness.

If restricted to two and choosing from your list is would be the 28 & 50.

From what I own it would be the Voigtlander Ultron 28/1.9 ASPH and the Leica-M Summicron 50/1.4 ASPH.

28/2 Asph + 50/2 APO

Another great travel combo, from experience, is 24 + 50 (even though you're not considering this one, in your list)

Hi Vivek
Sorry - missed that one - yes - the chicken shots were taken with a prototype lens - it still isn't available for sale as a series version, but it comes in a stainless steel version with the 100 Jahre kits. (I now have a lens based on that one, but of coursee I don't have the kit)
