I know I have gone bonkers when I am first on a dealers list for the new B&W camera, but turned them down for now. They will receive the camera tomorrow and I could have had it for the weekend.

I have a meaning to my madness. I am on another dealers list and due to trade-ins once I am notfied by this second dealer I will not have to lay out any funds for the M246.

In the meantime I can still capture images and convert them to B&W if wanted or needed.

I'm a more patient sort. I put in one order for it. When the dealer has mine, be it this month or by Christmas, I'll be happy. :)

I've had mine since Monday, have been able to take only a few shots so far due to a busy week at work. Looking forward to the week-end. Got 2 vintage Summicrons to use specifically with it, 50 Rigid and 35 v1. I like the initial results a lot, those lenses are surprisingly good for their age...will post something in a few days.

what's the "screw" just above the lens/body cap?
That covers the port for a rangefinder adjustment screw. Same thing on the M-P. On other models, it's often covered by the Red Dot.

I really like the stark and simple look of the M-P and MM246.
