Not clear whether it will load the Leica DNG to zoom into it or if it just displays the embedded thumbnail.

Looks good but I don't really care so much about the screen. It would still be too small to evaluate a shot. As long as I know the images were copied to the device I am happy. I also have an Epson P2000 and I found even with that screen I couldn't use it to evaluate an image. Still if I didn't have one I would probably wait for the newer unit.
