IF there is product in hand, I am rather surprised at just how fast Leica has "gotten it in gear"
the DMR was a collaborative effort but much of the digital was done outside, the M8 was mechanically a Leica but firmware was was done outside. by the time we see the M8.2 i think firmware was brought in house. a steady progression ramping up to speed.
It is amazing that they could bring both the S2 and the M9 up at the same time. Had it been Canon or Nikon no big deal, but Leica sure has come a long way in a short amount of time.... even with all of the growing pains with the M8, a world wide recession, numerous captains at the wheel, all in all i think they should be applauded for what they have accomplished.
