Im contemplating buying a Nikon 8000 - the 9000 is just out of my reach for now.
But I hear about the eternal problems about banding and light streaks - I do want to buy a Hasselblad 500/501 so the 8000 makes sense ( I have a GREAT GREAT price on a CoolScan 4000 which suit my Leicas perhaps even better than the 8000 , at exactly a third of the cost over the 8000 ).
What is your take ?
What are the benefits of a 8000 vs a 4000 for "normal" 35mm film ?
