more testing of well used 80mm 1.9 manual Sekor C lens.
I was able to get to my son's lacrosse game and take some shots.
Yes, a P1 DF body , P45 and manual 80 1.9 is far from ideal for sports, but you'd be surprised how many shots wide came out nicely.
I shot everything wide open. Including this smiley boy at his first game (that's my son!)
OOF is good but seems to have quite a bit of spherical aberration. IE, nice but not creamy.
Now I am on a quest for the perfect f2 80mm manual lens.
What are the options for Zeiss glass? I know I could use a Hassy 80mm 2.8, but is there a
80mm Zeiss Planar 2.0 lens out there that could be adapted to a mamiya mount?
Might just pick up an old hassy 2.8 to try. I sold all my hassy gear years ago.
cheers,
Eric
