Dear all,
With the increasing abundance of 10-bit/channel displays on the market, I was curious to know whether any of you have adopted a true 30bit (vs. 24bit or pseudo 32bit) workflow.
My research so far suggests:
This is currently a PC-user only question (OSX does not support 10-bit native)
As well as a 10-bit display, one requires a Quadro or ATI FirePro graphics card with displayport
PS CS5.X supports it
Lightroom 3.X does not support it yet
I am curious whether C1 does or not ?
What are people's thoughts on this in general ?
My perspective is that of a fine art photographer - and I suspect I probably wont see a tangible benefit - at least in print. Not 100% sure though - hence the question !
