If you already own a P45+ I think you should get a Mamiya or Phase DF to use it for photos of your kids. On the side get that new zippy little mirror less nikon for quick action and fun n games with the kids.
You could dabble by getting an inexpensive used Mamiya AFD ii and a 150 3.5.
