Digital Tech certification

Hey everyone!
I'm interested in finding work as a digital tech, and I would like to learn the skill set associated with tech'ing. Now, Digital Transitions is running a digital tech certification course. It is rather expensive for a 2 day seminar, costing about $500, but it seems to cover a very wide range of things.

Does anyone here have any experience with those classes? Will I be able to generate a return on those classes sometime in the near future?

No Discounts, but your tuition comes with a Full Copy of CaptureOne Pro and Catered Lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

Also it is a great networking event as well.
