Dear Friends,

I've just bought the Disto D5 and am wondering I can put the ALPA HPF rings on my lenses (Both with and without T/S). I also want to know where I can buy it. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Pramote

John Milich (member jlm) of the GetDPI family is who you want to talk to. You can also search some threads here on his work with machining hpf rings on Cambo lenses. Amazingly nice rig. John's work on Cambo t/s: http://forum.getdpi.com/gallery/files/7/4/cambo_x1.jpg
On the t/s panels, the stock adjustment knobs get in the way; john found a way to get around it.

I just got my HPF ring for the 35xl, thought the video shows that a rubber ring/washer is required for Schneider lenses in order to get a tight fit, mine didn't need one, anyone else had a similar experience? now shall get out and take some pics!

No rubber ring required on my Alpa SK 35 XL either. It was a perfect fit as-is and all I had to do was line up the infinity marks and everything was fine.
