Mamiya RB67 + Aptus 22

I recently acquired a Leaf Aptus 22 and I am using it on my RB67. I have three RB67 C lenses and they all trigger the aptus fine, but for some reason when I try my 90mm KL lens it won't trigger the back. I've tried hooking up a flash to the sync port on the KL lens and it fires every time, so I'm really confused as to what would be causing it to trigger the back.

Any incite would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Cory,

9 out of 10 times this kind of sync issues is a result of a worn x-sync socket on the lens.

Try with lower/higher shutter speeds and also with another sync cable of you've got one

Next I would suggest having the lens serviced

I was having a similar problem. Took the lenses to a local Camera store and they replaced the port on each of the lenses for $65 each. Works like a dream now.
