Anyone know how to release the locking cam on the rear plate of the lens without causing any damage?

Thanks

you mean your accidentally tripped the leaf shutter? use a tiny screw driver to twist that metal clamp on the back of the lens to re cock it.

Better yet, go to you tube and search for how to cock leaf shutter hasselblad

Turn the slotted top in the direction of the arrow til it stops. It's a pretty tight spring and you have to turn almost a full 360 degrees. The image shows what it should look like when you're finished.

As Schuster indicated, turn the key clockwise approx 1 revolution, you will feel a click, the shutter is now cocked and can be reattached to the camera body. I use a quarter for this, it fits perfectly in the slot.
