Just thinking of a volte face

Great quote! Can I borrow it to justify buying more gear to my wife? ;)

Ray
That quote does indeed belong somewhere here in Dante's forum.

But it's also a dual edge sword, Ray. You must be aware by now that she can use that quote on you.....

Sometimes it's good to be single... :ROTFL:

Just thought I'd check in to say that I have asked my dealer to send the IQ180 back to me and have also ordered an STC with Rodie 40 and HPF ring - so let the good times roll!

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

Nice combo.

Tim need to remember these things have limitations and unfortunately they are unavoidable. My Roadie 28mm went 7mm and that's all she wrote. Knowing that it was a lot less frustrating to use knowing what is possible and what is not. The 40 will go much further but sometimes on a rise with a tall building for instance you just have to cheat and tilt the whole camera up, frame it like you want than fix the keystone in C1. These type of work arounds are common. Good to know the tricks. Ill say this to anyone using a Phase/ Leaf back know C1 better than you know the back of your hand. There is a load of power in that software, tap it. That was my podium speech now I need to download 400 images I shot today. I'm worn out. LOL

It's also worth getting your IQ back and Alpa mount calibrated together. You'll need to do that with a longer lens than the 40 though for best results.

As Alpa starter outfits go, that's quite a nice combo to begin with. Welcome back in, the flames are toasty here :D
