Really try to take them put. Don't get me wrong the image is already fantastic, but as Anders_HK said, they do distract a little bit. If they were gone you had an amazing image.
Hope you guys get some nice stuff. I'm on break from shooting this week. I might sneak away after this family vacation and get down to some landscape work
Photography is all about experimentation and without it you will never learn art.
Tom ... fabulous!
Few palm silhouette images from Hawaii. Nothing fantastic but I like the genre.
All Cambo WRS, IQ180, HR32, two shot shifted stitch.
Gorgeous shots Ed.
Close to home...
Peter, Ed, great shots!
Never thought I'd shoot a regatta with MF, but I did!
P65+, 150 mm.
Thanks, Ed - it's the Bruce Peninsula, where I live, taken from a boat on Georgian Bay.
Love your stunning hawaii images etrump.
Always amazed at the quality and variety of work displayed in this gallery.
"Perfection is not attainable. But if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence."
Let me rephrase that: Absolutely georgous image from a very talented photographer. As a matter of interest and not connected to your skill, what digital back are you using on that RZ?
Just before a pin-up fashion show I had an opportunity to photograph 17 models with my H4d-40.
Had between five and ten minutes for each model, sometimes less.
For many of these models it was their first shoot.
At the risk of pin-up overload, here are about a dozen shots.

Ed was kind enough to direct me to that magnificent stand of palm trees. (and despite what he says about them, I love the shots he posted). Unfortunately the sunset was sort of a bust so I spent some time shooting the surf action. This is my favorite of the evening ..

Lovely work itsskin.
Great surf shot, Wayne!
itsskin -- I love the third image!
Joe -- Nice set!
Hello everybody !
A shot from today in La Dombes, near Lyon

Home from Kauai, working on some images. I think this is my favorite from the trip so far. Color only lasted about 2 minutes about 5 minutes before actual sunrise, but managed to catch some nice surf with the color.
DF with 45mm, 2 seconds at f/14
Great Shot Wayne.
Planning my Autumn schedule got me looking through some images from last year I have been too busy/lazy to process. I think this holds some promise from White Rock Mountain in NW Arkansas. Normally it doesn't color up like this but last year was a banner year for Oak trees.
Some of the boys about to fly vintage aircraft. Pic needs an old dog sleeping under the Harvard (front aircraft).
IQ180, 70HR, AS Monolith, 3 shot stitch
Wonder if Alpa LC handles the 180 back?

Ed: I love the fall image; however, I'm getting a very yellow haze in the sky on the left, reminds me of when I lived in Los Angeles.
Douglas: Very nice. Are those whiskey barrels?
Here's another B&W from Yellowstone, shadows in a thermal pool.
Thanks. Yes those are indeed whiskey barrels.
Lovely portrait, Douglas! The whiskey barrels really add to it...or am I just thirsty?
