We were ambushed with fog....first it was light (read: sun) - then heavy rain, and local fog...at that point I ordered the car to stop since at some point I had both sunshine, and fog

I really like this image, I wish I could say it was intentional.

For the curious, the above is what you get when you print the image below on the wrong side of Pictorico High Gloss Film (hard to do, but not impossible)

    H4-d 40 80mm
I was just about to pull out the tripod to set up my shot then I noticed a boat coming, so I shot this hand held:

Then, I set up my shot I wanted and took a few like this:

So now I hear a train...loosened the ball head and turned just enough time to get these 2 images, Wish I would of been able to have time to frame it better:

not into the motion blur that much, but its cool anyway.

Yeah! I like this! It looks like an 'typical' environmental portrait of a Leica! And the tones are grandiose as like an MM! Fun with MF! Love this!

Once in a while, one of my students will do this. It really freaks them out thinking there is a serious printer problem.

It is really neat. Kind of the digital version of cross-processing.

OK, one more just for Vincent because of his kind words

I must admit that I have a soft spot in my heart for stone and water.

And by the way, is there anyone more than I seeing the ancient stone salamander,
that is slowly creeping into the picture from the lower right corner.
Or maybe I should just look at some other views for a while

Yes, like using blur/distort in PS, but in an old school way.

Had I done this on purpose, I'd be quite pleased with my ingenuity.

If Hasselblad had used this photo in their marketing, they may have been able to extend the life of the V cameras a few more years. Alas, I have a feeling that their current owners are more interested in selling re-badged Sony cameras clad in skunk fur and wood from endangered rainforest trees

    Hi Stan,
    Lovely work, as always.

On this particular shot I would have brought up the light on the model's left shoulder a bit. As shown, the combination
of the lower light level and her left shoulder being slightly lower than her right makes her look unbalanced.

    Just a suggestion.

Pocahontas definitely improved with age and her legs seemed to have got longer too. For the better

Btw, I REALLY wish there was a digital 617 option (Seitz doesn't count). It's my favorite film format.

Thanks Graham for your kind words! I took 5 pictures with different focus and manually combined them in PS.

For the curious, the above is what you get when you print the image below on the wrong side of Pictorico High Gloss Film (hard to do, but not impossible)

I would love to see the first image photographed and then laid over the original image - then with a little photoshop work I think an amazing image is possible - like the real spirit of the landscape has been revealed to you, all you have to do is blend the real with the observed.

Yes you are right, my medication is wearing off - I will go straight away and remedy that problem.
