    Re: Fun with MF images

Last four images taken during a recent holiday back to my home country of England... These traditional red 'phone boxes are iconically British but sadly are not as numerous or well cared for as they were in my youth (hence the sign visible in some of the shots urging people to help save them). For more info., see Red telephone box - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not sure if these two work. Perhaps clutching at straws. Or interestingly different. Can't make up my mind!

At the risk of allowing my personal bias to interfere with artistic judgements, here are some pictures of my now 6-month old son. How time flies!

Apart from the final shot, all taken with 645D plus 150mm f2.8 FA

    Re: Fun with MF images

    Hi,

I am normally shooting landscape but my camera club had a shooting at a castle in Sweden (Nynäs Slott) with a couple of nice young ladies acting both as photographers and models. Contrary to plans, I was shooting my Hasselblad, in part because I lent out my DSLR.

So these are my first portraits with MFD and probably the first ones in twenty years. First it was a lot of stress, but in the end it was great fun. But, I missed my DSLR…

    Best regards
    Erik

Any chance of posting a normal size file and not the original? It totally messes up loading the page, even on adsl!

    Thanks

    Re: Fun with MF images

We've been meaning to go to the Palouse area for sometime now and finally decided to stop by on our way to Jackson Hole; not an easy thing to do as it took 2-1/2 days from Tucson then 12-hours on into Jackson Hole. The other problem was we only had 1-1/2 days to explore to make certain what we had seen on the web was what we wanted to come back and do "for real" - that decision was made in less than 10-minutes.

This image was captured around 6 P.M. on the day we arrived using the DF/IQ160 and Schneider LS 240 lens, handheld, f/5 1/160 ISO 50. This lens is not just great for wildlife, it can also knock it out of the park for landscape as well.

We're returning to the area in a couple weeks and will also have the Cambo WRS this time (it was in the apartment in Jackson). Looking forward to it....
