A rare calm day on the shore of Lake Erie; the ice mounds were formed by more typical days of high winds and cold temperatures.

I don't know if it's just the Pentax lenses or the nature of high-resolution cameras in general, but I spot the signature magenta/green fringing I regularly see around high-contrast edges in that full-size image, a couple of picks with the fringe correction tool in Lightroom should fix that.

    Afternoon.

Just back in from capturing the first signs of the returning sun, mountains on the other side of the lake glowing nicely for the first time in ages.

    Hi Ashwin:

Nice to see you back in the MF thread. Don't be too homesick this time of year; it took a lot of wind and cold to form those ice mounds.

Hi Ashwin, great takes and great camera. Can you tell what lens and aperture did you use for the last pic?
I'm seeing at a 100% enlargement crop of the picture below, right?
    Thanks,
    Eduardo
