Darr, the HB V-system looks really good in your hands. How did you use the Hasselblad 135mm lens? Did you use it on the macro bellow like the one below? I use the Hasselblad 120mm Makro-Planar CFE lens on it to duplicate slides film.

The CZ 135mm lens for the V-System , was not only designed to be used with the bellows unit , but also as a "standalone" lens with the variable extension unit .
There was also a CZ 135mm lens for the 1600F and 1000F cameras and their bellows unit . (Not shown)

    Afternoon

Something a little different, we've been in a pretty bad storm for the last 4 days, very strong winds and snow, even the dogs look miserable!

    Thanks Son!

I used the 135mm with the bellows unit like in your photo minus the tube and shade. I have the shade, but find it gets in the way at extreme closeups. The stone photographed is very small and was shot at 1:1.

PS: Love your Red Hassy! I have lusted after a Blue one for sometime.

Last week on a cold day. Did some sunrise shots at a go to place here in Door County, and then continued up the peninsula. This is near the tip at the harbor in Gills Rock. The avians here are mostly of the snow bird variety.

    Hi,

This is a stitch of two images shot with a P45+ on Hasselblad 555/ELD I shot previous year. I was irritated with the colour aliasing on the rippled water behind the rocks and ignored it for a long time, one of the frequent posters said it was a nice image in spite of the moiré stuff, so here it comes:

The full size images is here: http://echophoto.dnsalias.net/ekr/Ar...n_stitch_1.jpg

Sydney's extensive coast line is notable for its rockpools - provided at many beaches around the city in support of the country's well-known active, outdoor lifestyle. This is one of them this morning...

    Re: Fun with MF images

    Hi,

The reason I realised that picture was one of yours is that:

    - The subject was birds and wildlife
    - The image was taken in good light

Very few MFD photographers show wildlife pictures. I see that good light in many pictures, but birds in flight and good light in combination with MFD is a pretty good indication that you were holding the camera.

Thanks for feedback, I would have ignored that picture without you suggestions.

    Best regards
    Erik

I have this friend, Richard, that makes furniture without any nails. The sections are connected with internal dowels etc. Takes him months to complete each piece, but fortunately he is retired so he works on the furniture whenever his wife allows him to!

    Re: Fun with MF images

Something slightly different... The following shots are of an installation called 'The Lanterns of the Terracotta Warriors' by Xia Nan, which has been sited in Sydney as part of celebrations for the Lunar New Year. The installation was originally created for the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and has travelled since then. Cool location and an interesting expression of the relationship these days between Australia and Asia.

Very difficult to shoot at night time (when the figures were illuminated) because it was always crawling with people. So I shot only the overhead figures by night and did the other pictures pre-dawn...
