Nice Shashin. Interesting that you and Graham have posted the same lighthouse from opposite ends of North America.Permaquid Point, again...
Both Pentax 645D with 55mm.
I know Vincent, I grew up in California in the 50s, 60s and early 70s. The place I knew doesn't exist anymore. Here it is still rustic, an Amish school house:..............................There are things to be said for rustic. Napa was once rustic, now it feels like Disneyland.
Tom,Nice Shashin. Interesting that you and Graham have posted lighthouses at the opposite ends of North America.
Resonates with me -I have a collection of granite beach stones from Nova Scotia and the west coast of Vancouver Island. They look very similar, yet so far apart.
You're quite right Dave, thanks. I'll correct my post.Tom,
Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I thought both the images of the lighthouse posted by Shashin and Graham were of the same lighthouse? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right. I just have a shorter drive...Tom,
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Very nice composition, but it has a little too much contrast, sharpening or luminance for me. Nonetheless, a very interesting photo!
Hasselblad H4D-40 with HCD 28mm.
Thanks for viewing.
