Midsummer in Sweden, some times a family holiday.
So time to put a niece in front of the camera!

Tuva is her name, and I will bribe her to stand in my studion more times!

Ray,
I like how you lit the background.

What did you use on the Quadra, some grid?

Thanks,

Steve.

Thanks for your kind words Alan!

She adapted surprisingly quick to the hard life of a model!

So, yes, I think you will see more of here :)

Steve, the setup was as follow:

On her right side a 300x1200 mm soft box on its own Quadra. No grid but a black cloth on the right vertical side of the soft box to reduce reflection in to the area.
To here right one quadra head with the small standard reflector + the diffusor plastic cap with an 2 stop neutral density film to reduce the output. On the background,
from the same Quadra, one soft box 300x1200 mm with a grid to control the light better.

There was some vingeting added in PP due to the fact that the grid was not ”tight” enough.

Back some years ago i did a self assignment of flowers on black background,
now beautiful pictures by Shashin inspired me to dig into my files and find one of them.

Best,
