I am not sure if this technically goes here. Maybe large-format photography? Anyway, this is a scanner image--Seitz makes a medium-format scanning camera and so does Better Light. These are wild raspberry leaves--for the fruit, see above. This is not a reflection scan, but rather a transmission scan--I am scanning it as positive film.

We make tea from the leaves.

Another beautiful foggy morning in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park (north of Sydney); Barrenjoey lighthouse can be seen in a couple of these:

Looks to me like that's at the Bower...jumped off there quite a number of times myself if it is (3+ decades ago)...many nice shots of yours generally, Ed.

Thanks Martin. It's Dee Why Point, not the Bower (though I can see why you would think that).

True! I appreciate the input I got here on getdpi before I made the purchase.

Mamiya ADF, Kodak Pro Back 645M, Sekor f/1.9 80mm, SEP2.
Hey, the 645 AFD + Proback 645M is exactly the same MFD kit I've been using for the past 5 years! Great to see someone else using it too.

The good news - there are 8 or 9 months worth of images in this thread for me to catch up on and enjoy.
The bad news - it'll take me a while!

A couple of my own from this period.
Mamiya 645AFD, Kodak DCS645M, 80/1.9.

"New forklift".

I just read in another thread that the new Phase One XF camera won't mount this classic lens. What a shame!

Jupiter and Venus approaching conjunction in June.

Mamiya 645AFD, Kodak DCS645M, 80/1.9, diffraction filter, 30 seconds, AstroTrac.

Loiano church, Emilia Romagna, Italy

I was escorting a group of students around, so shooting with a tripod was impractical. I handheld the external shots and improvised interior supports using the floor or a pew.

Mamiya 645AFD, Kodak DCS645M, 24mm ULD fisheye. These are all de-fished in Hugin.

The ceiling is my favourite:

You know, Ed, that was my alternate thought (truly) as I'm familiar, but not as much so, with DY point also...if I remember the way it breaks, that guy's taking off just wide of 'the Chair", which is the section the better riders try to get into from behind...sorry to get a little surf-o-technical, but your shots have sparked off some old memories for me (another good thing about this 'fun with...' thread).
Best wishes and keep up your truly excellent image making

Hey folks. I'm brand new to this forum but not new to the art and craft of photography. I have a question I am hoping someone may have an answer to. In January I auditioned a Credo 60 for my old Hasselblads. The images were outstanding, as you would think they would be. However, when photographing into an open sky, or on seamless, I am getting huge banding. Honestly, I've never noticed it before when using my Canons. I have never encountered anything quite like that before and until that issue is solved there is no way I will be making the purchase of the hardware. Do any of you have solutions for that? I believe the back was the latest iteration of the back. I cannot imagine anyone being happy with that result. Admittedly, I am relatively new to the digital scheme of things but I never saw anything like this when using my 4x5's.

By banding, do you mean repetitive stripes; or does it look like the image is split into large equal-size blocks, each with slightly different exposure/colour? Could you link an example image?

My latest addition arrived yesterday: the legendary Contax Zeiss 120 mm Macro for the Contax 645.

The image was taken with a P21+, 1/60s sec.

This is from my garden, some crazy plant:

and the details from that image: geez, that's a sharp lens.

I know, nothing special, but needed to share this with you... ;)
