Fuji GF670 discontinued

Does anyone else find the discontinuation of the Fuji GF670 to be an interesting announcement right before Photokina?

The Fujifilm GF670 Folding Rangefinder is Now Discontinued

The GF670 was made together with Cosina, who sold it under the Voigtlander brand. The latter seems to have been discontinued as well. I was more surprised that they could keep it in production for so long, considering all the excellent, dirt cheap MF cameras available on the second hand market, than the fact that it's now discontinued.
