Just one note -- the image circle may be very large for 35mm, but when you put it on a 36x48mm sensor, you would not really have any room to shift at all. So it may work as a standard wide angle (17mm is extraordinarily wide on medium format), but you would not be able to use it as a shift lens. Anyway, nice to see Canon putting out lenses, even if I don't shoot with them...
