Digital Transitions happy to announce that we are joining Camera Voyages for our 3rd time to provide an immersive and interactive photography workshop in picturesque Cuba from January 27 - February 3, 2017.

This workshop will truly be a once in a lifetime experience for you to capture the essence and beauty of the Cuban culture through the lens of the latest Phase One Medium Format camera systems. This workshop is not like many of the regular workshop/tours that are out there - not only does Digital Transitions provide access to Phase One Digital Systems for use during the trip but Camera Voyages’ impeccable reputation and experience in Cuban travel photography enables us to have access to places not normally available to regular tours.

The workshop is led by Bruce Byers and William Vazquez of Camera Voyages , Lance Schad of Digital Transitions and lending his expertise to the group is special guest, architectural photographer Jeffrey Totaro (former PODAS workshop instructor and instructor at Palm Beach Photo Workshops) will be lending his expertise to the group.

During the workshop we will spend time in Havana shooting its beautiful architecture and people but we will also have the unique opportunity to shoot other things such as flamenco dancers in Cathedral Square, boxers while training in their open air gym, and fishermen along the Malecón to name a few. We will also travel outside Havana on an overnight road trip and experience the beautiful city of Trinidad, and along the way we will visit working farms to interact and photograph the daily lives of the people that work on them and in some cases live on them as well. While we are in Trinidad we will have the opportunity to explore this well preserved town, enjoy the beautiful sunset and enjoy the local culture.

As many of you are aware, Cuba is receiving great deal of attention since the United States has eased travel restrictions and reopened diplomatic relations. Cuba feels like an anachronism - a country frozen in time. With this in mind, now is the time to join us and experience this beautiful country while the country still has its ancestral charm.

Only a few spots remain for this workshop so please contact us for more information.
