One would think they would be flying off the shelves, but I guess with few bodies delivered they will have lenses for when they get more bodies.

Right, the availability of lenses has not been the barrier in the launch of the X1D. It's the bodies. However, AFAIK, B&H is the only dealer with the 30mm lens in stock.
