One caveat though if you don't mind me suggesting this. The clouds in image #1 seem to have some blown out values. I think this image dramatic as it is already could be taken to another level by blending a reduced exposure iteration of the same frame (assuming you did not bracket your exposures in which case you can do some HDR blending) to compensate for the clouds blown highlights to match the rest of the scene. Otherwise very cool stuff.

hey thanks no it is in north carolina, I saw that the clouds are gone totally, I was just messing around and though I might should try to blend in the cllouds, I was just playing with a filter and this effect showed up by chance I kind of like it. By the way thanks for all your suggestions that really helped me out!!!!!!!
