Now, that is a combicam feature that would be really useful!;)

I can do away my wish for a coffee machine as being part of a combicam if it would do the accounting!:D

Go Fuji!

I like your "streets", Jorgen and Vivek. Never mind brands, all we need is magic optics.

Bondo Nice image ...the blue dress in the background really catches your eye and contrasts to the traditional clothing in the foreground.

Totally missed this thread... nice job, all of you! :thumbup:

Jorgen, this last pink-and-white girl is yet another addition to your endless gallery of priceless human expressions.

Posted previously in the "For Fun" thread, but here's my modest take at street photo lately. With my apologies to Jono for the "BW, grainy, OOF" photo (dead on! :ROTFL:) but it was a reflex shot with the ZF 21mm through a wind shield.

(a car procession from a wedding was passing by...)

Thanks, Vivek :thumbup::)
Where did you pick up your huge knowledge about all these interesting C-mount lenses ?

From a recent trip to NYC:

In case you are wondering about the odd angles, the technique I used goes like this:

Using my D700 + MB-D10 + CV 20mm SL II (not exactly subtle), I set the lens focus hyperfocally at f5 & 10' to infinity. I set the camera to aperture priority and auto ISO (200-3200) and basically walked around with it at arm's length at my side (I have a Camdapter handstrap - highly recommended!) and shot folks as I passed by. Street noise masked the shutter noise very effectively and no one was the wiser. Or New Yorkers are just too jaded to care.

I think a Nikon street thread is a great idea. I got rid of all my 4/3 stuff and seem to be doing fine with my D700 and 20, 28, and 50.

Oddly, Sony is the only camera maker who are refusing to make combicams!

CaNikPentOly, etc should merge and make a do it all camera. :ROTFL:
