Andrea, I really enjoyed these...especially the first. Wonderful catch!Hi,
after enjoying so many beautiful images I think it's time to show some images from me.
I really enjoy "street" images, but I feel not very comfortable doing them myself.
Both images done with D200 and the 18-200 AFS VR Nikon lens.
Greetings,
Andrea
Thanks Steen, sometimes it's nice to get away for a few hours. I took the train up there yesterday afternoon, five hours for $1.25, third class only and great, cheap entertainment  Then I spent the evening drinking local beer, smoking dirt cheap, local cigarettes at $0.40 a pack (yes, it's a bad habit, but in Poipet, it feels right) and watching people and motorbikes floating by in the mud. Up before sunrise at five, an hour of photos before I took one of the casino buses (those who take the gamblers back to Bangkok after a night of gambling on the border; casinos are not permitted in Thailand, but they are on the Cambodian side, before you formally enter Cambodia) back home, arriving here at 11 in the morning. Cheap funThanks Jorgen. Great capture of the rainy and muddy morning atmosphere in Poipet.
Are you there for business, holiday ... or for finding images
And yes, Roger, I think this lens must be my all time favourite, though it ain't that easy to focus with accuracy.
I so much hope that Nikon will soon release an AF-S 1.2/85 VR.
And please let it be a lens with magic rendering, not just an ok lens like e.g. the recent AF-S 1.4/50.
Did I say f/1.2 ?
F/1.4 max aperture will be ok provided it has excellent sharpness wide open
Do you think Nikon is capable of making such a prime with mojo
Do you think Nikon is interested in making primes with mojo ...
Nicely done. Love the prior shot as well. Thanks a lot, Clay and Jorgen.
And Jorgen, not exactly 'Babylon'
We were in Turkey to visit some friends. Here's one more from the market.
