Wow, Mr. Ant, I have totally missed that trophy picture of yours.
As Lloyd, Matt, Jorgen and Hermann have already said it's absolutely wonderful.
Priceless. I wonder what that man does for a living.
Undertaker ?
Spy ?
Or ... ?

Hey Steen.
I got the f3HP as a loaner and really tried but hated it. Everything is locked and the exposure meter in the vf ...well I dont have to say what I thought of that, do I?

Horrible little grip that made my hand ache, and the viewfinder was undeserving of the praise its heaped. I tried the n8008s(F801s) and much preferred it but found it hard to refuse an unused F100 still in its box ...is on its way to me now. I've had an F5 before and dont want another, the f100 is spot on so I'll be sure to carry it everywhere.

The F100 won me over with its custom features and in particular the EV-lock on the shutter and the ev+/- on the command dial. I often shoot in M but like to use the metering in A to pick my middle.

Hi Ant

Love those mirrored shots, the woman looks very determined :)

Congrats on your coming F100, that is of course a far bigger and more modern and more advanced camera than my 30 years old F3 with its electronic shutter as the only automation (aperture priority),
I just happen to like the compact size and the simplicity of the old F3, maybe partly a nostalgia thing, I am an old dog myself you know.

Your F100 is more like a mini F6 or pre F6, it doesn't get better or more advanced than that.

By the way, on the F3 the shutter information should be displayed via an internal liquid crystal display inside the viewfinder and should be easy to read,
while the aperture information is displayed mechanically through a window at the top center of the viewfinder where a micro-prism reads small f-numbers printed behind the normal aperture numbers on the AI or AI-S lenses,
and I agree this is a bit more dim to read but it works ok for me.

Looking forward to see some F100 work from your hand.
