That's roughly in line with the anticipated Australian price. I just called my Nikon dealer and he said that, although prices haven't officially been set, they'd been told to expect a list price of around AU$3700, which would mean a street price of AU$3350 (US$3200). Despite the relative strength of the Australian dollar, prices are always higher here than in the US.
