    Re: Fun with Nikon Images

Driving to Riverton Wyoming you come up around a bend and see this ... it's always worth a stop. I've shot it a few times, this is probably the best so far.

d800e with 70-200/2.8 at 70mm, 1/40th at f/14, 7 shot stitch taken twice (for focus stack). 2 stop soft Grad ND

The bigger I print this the better it looks ... I can start seeing individual flowers in those yellow patches off in the distance.

First shoot ever with my brand new 50f1.2 ... I'm damn happy, got it for half price via air mail; was a bit scared but the ebay seller seems absolutely rock solid. I was right to bet and trust him !

I'm waiting in Miami Airport for a return flight to London after a business trip. Weather has been pretty dire, but here is a shot from today in the Art Deco district of Miami.

Most of my work is done with MF digital but it is nice to have such great Nikon equipment ready for situations not suited for MF.

Shooting with both D4 and D800E since there is no time to change glass.

Lovely and interesting shot Pramote. Presumably a stack utilising 'lighten' layer blending mode?

Thanks very much Ed for your kind words! It was a straight shot. The setting was ISO 400/ f/8 / 1979-sec exposure at a focal length of 14mm.
