    Rayyan: First thanks!

But you really should take a long walk around Munich Old Cemetery next time, when you visit Munich (me ). I am pretty sure, you would like it as well!

BTW: Didn't I say: I love cemetery pictures? (Insert confused/smile)

I agree. In the first one you can see who's idea it was: on the left, the hostess, on the right, the one who adopts a more let's say "laid back" pose.

Exactly! The shared looks and those gloves, the "hostess" wears, absolutely exquisite!

Little time here, too many great contributions to catch up properly...

Steve, impressive... apparently you're going for the less crispier look noticed recently?

Lloyd, the vaseline shot is priceless

Ben: a serene capture of DV... lovely portrait, too!

One of the very best child portrait seen this year for sure.

    Delicate and nostalgic. Simply Beautiful.

The "classic" flags & stones shot is great, too. All of them are.

(and like everyone before me, love the hostess table... perfect)

Rayyan: Berlin is worth a journey beyond doubt, the German version of metropolis, but Munich is for bon vivants, the cosy million inhabitant village, but you know that!

Ryan: Maybe a question of partiality, but take it as an honest opinion:
I prefer the B&W version by far, since it appears not to be staged, but authentic - plus the communication (role-play) between the two subjects is simply priceless.

    Nice one nevertheless!

+1 from here, exactly -though of course from an outsider perspective.

The sandals shot is excellent. Minimalist, soft hues... smells like the evening's coming after a enjoyable day at the beach.

Hermann, Honestly one does not need any excuse to visit Bavaria. The only time I avoid Munich is in October..my type of drinks become scarce., and there are too many other temptations around for a cardiac old man!!

I checked the translation in you-know-where. It came out ridiculous, but I got the meaning.

    Thanks and take care.

Rayyan: Maybe I found a better translation for you :-)

"Walled up in the earth so steady
Burned from clay, the mould doth stand." Friedrich Schiller, "Song of the Bell".

But since this is a picture-thread as an exculpation solely those three from "BMW World" :

    "Man on the Stairway"

    D 700, 14 - 24 mm/2.8 G @ 24 mm & f/4

    "Bar"

    D 700, 14 -24 mm/2.8G @ 24 mm & f/4

    "Wishful Thinking"

    D 50, 12 - 24 mm/4G @ 24 mm & f/5

Hope you like it and thanks for your interest.
    Best regards - Hermann

Matt, I have this friend. Hangs around on the west coast.

Says he has a ' day job '. That send him to Waikiki beach.

Says he shall show us birds in Paradise. On Waikiki.

He then keeps all them bird shots for himself.

I was waiting for them multi colored tits.

Amongst luscious green foliage and sand.

He sent me some bird shots. Yes. Grayscale.

What about them birds. I was waiting for the tits.

If my day job send me to Waikiki. I would work even at night. Just to
go find them birds. Known to inhabit that island.

    What a bummer!!
