Steve: Saw those and the other pictures from the wedding only just on your website. That's a really stunning series. Puh, and almost impossible to pick favorites. If I had to, perhaps # 1, # 3, # 4, # 5 , # 6 and # 7. But to be honest, I like all of them.
    Best regards - Hermann

Well, went and took the plunge. D800 now in my possession. I will shut up and let the pictures do the talking. I do like this camera quite a bit though.

Hope you enjoy.....still getting used to the new unit....everything is not second nature yet.

    Re: Fun with Nikon Images

A friend of mine has an ongoing project I've been shooting for...and I've been a bad photographer and not shared anything.

We were going for an evil queen cum CEO, in a slightly vintage milieu.

Nikon d800, 85/1.8, Einstein aimed such that the profile of the bulb was the light source. This is straight out of camera I believe.

Brings back memories of trips to your country years ago. Alas all were taken with a real, film, camera and were lost in Katrina.

Friends, thank you so very much for stopping by. I am a little slow in writing, so granpa has to help me.

    It has been long ( for me ) since I visited here. So many superb images to see;
so so many of granpa's friends to meet and thank.

I have begun to taste my thumb..not as good as the dates that i am given sometimes to lick!!

Granpa's hands shake and he is reluctant to use a stand!! Or shoot in Raw. What can I tell him..

Steve, welcome back..granpa missed you. I missed your lovely shots.
    Hermann, You too.
    Ben, thank you.

And all the others...thank you, thank you.

And please can someone tell the old man not to use flash..please. Disturbs me
    a lot!!

    Gratefully yours

Fried Twinkies. OMG, the food of champions! I wanted to try it, but had already had a roughly equally calorific snack and this would have sent me into insulin shock...
