Matt, all the family saw this series today. Hamza asked me if You were not scared. I did not know what to tell him. Said they were pets!!

Anyway, here's the story pal..

I got busy, so sorry to be late
In telling the saga of me and the bear

I went online, I went into town
I left the travel agent after many hours. With a frown

Non-stop flight from here to there
That would take me fast to the lair. Of the bear

Not possible they said. Many stops, many hours
You better forget the idea. Or loose your hair

At last I found an airline. A plan they had; with me to share
I left happy. An airline that seemed to care
The service was immaculate, by maidens fair
But there was catch. As is always there.

My joy turned to worry. I thought it was a nightmare
Poor old me, was on a flight to O'hare

Rayyan: Tell him we weren't scared because we were careful and courteous to the bears. Nicely told - "Da Bears" (Chicago that is).

Rayyan: Excellent capture of the monk.

Cheers, Matt.

This is great!!! Just one question (ok, two questions), who were they playing, and who won?

Rayyan: I really like the dynamic in the first photo. The slight crop reinforces it just right. Your pp and color, as always, is superb.

Some very nice elements of composition, light, and focus in the second photo. I can esp. appreciate this one because I've taken many, many, photographs of my glass of ice water (late at night, testing lenses, cameras, auto focus, manual focus, settings, IQ, and so on)

And add my vote in the affirmative on each. (Wow. I didn't realize I was so far behind!)

Nice shot, and strong processing, Doug. I also liked the shot in your most recent post.

GREAT set Steve!

Bears and bikes. Seems to be a theme! And a good one. Very nice shooting everyone. Makes me want to ditch my life and travel the world. Alas, the winter won't leave. Sixteen inches of wet snow on April 1. I'm beginning to think the fool is me for putting up with it.

Tim
Nice shot Tim. Your views almost make me think it would be worth putting up with 16 inches of snow on April 1st.

Went to the Fair today. Got this capture as we were leaving.

D700 + 18mm ZF.2 wide open. Shot RAW, processed in C1v6.1.1, standard settings with a slight bump in saturation (+5)
Love that shot, Carlos. That 18, and the 21 ZF are certainly on my wish list.

Another beautiful image, Rayyan. Love the colors, and the colors reflected in the water here.

I also concur with Matt and Steve's assessments on the shot of the monk.

Lloyd, very grateful to you sir. Who won? Da bear. I don't know.

All the time I was in O'hare
I was with Sue and her sis, the pretty miss Claire
Believe me Lloyd, a truly wonderful pair
Worth all the trouble, to fly over here..from you know where.;)

Not far from Boston. Care to join me there?

And of course my friend. Please take care.

Good bye miss claire. I bid farewell to O'hare.
It is cold there. I have had it being bare

Time to move on. To Go and visit elsewhere.

At least here, I don't get that stare.
But I do get tired being fed all that eclair.
