Lots of great work here guys! I have not contributed for a while. Little things like renovating the house have kept me occupied and left little time for getting out with the cameras. This is from an event I photographed recently.

Peter: That's a stunner!
Ben: Looks like a good time. Nice b&W. BTW, haven't seen that lens used around here for some time. Always was a fav of mine.
Thanks Lloyd. As much as I would love to have the 24-70, this old cheap glass just amazes me. It is a solid, reliable lens for a push pull zoom.
This is another image from a couple days ago with the 35-70 2.8, Nikon SB-800 off camera and a reflector.

Daves, Most Excellent! Last One For Me!
Been away awhile with my NEX-7, but I had a First Communion photo shoot this weekend. Here are some of the highlights:
Great to see you back around these part Carlos. Very nice set. I especially like that third shot.
I have to give credit where credit is due - that shot was my 14-yr old daughter's idea. She has a great eye.

I am particularly excited tonight because a few short hours ago, I shot what I believe to be my best frame yet. It is now making rounds within the fashion community on tumblr, twitter and other social platforms.

That's the computer, I said. Looks like a house, she was furious.
You won't understand gal, I said proudly..it can munch 200 mb files and
spit 'em out. Fast, before you can make my coffee..
But why? Oh, just in case I get that 36mp super machine.
Send it on vacation and take pics remotely. Save money, eh hon?
Nothing wrong with this I know, but wearing the new cam I sure shall impress
them climbers. A@@hole, she said. he, he! means I get to buy the cam.
